- This blog is about the Cantines Island Cohousing community, of which I am a member. I'll be posting pictures of our activities, information about the community and items of interest about cohousing in general. Cohousing falls somewhere between suburban isolation and communes. We own our homes, but maintain the grounds in common and share many of our meals in our common house. It's a great model for community.
